Can I extend expert chat later?▾
Yes. You can add support anytime while your guide is active and at least 30 days of guide access remain. Expert chat never extends past your 12-month guide end date. Buying another extension adds 30 days from your current support end date. During the grace period, a new purchase starts a fresh 30-day expert window.
What happens after 30 days?▾
If you bought expert chat, support ends after 30 days, then you get 7 extra days (grace period). After that, guide and chat lock until you renew. Guide access lasts 12 months from payment either way.
How long do I keep the guide?▾
Guide access is valid for 12 months from when you pay. After that, renew the guide for $19.99 to get another 12 months and the latest edition. Expert chat is optional and capped at 3 purchases per guide cycle.
How do I deploy a static site for free?▾
Store your code in an online repository, connect it to a hosting provider's static site option on the free tier, and wait for a live status. LaunchGuide walks through each click — see our free deploy overview in Guides.
Can I put an AI-built project online without being a developer?▾
Yes. Many beginners start with AI-generated code on localhost. LaunchGuide assumes no professional dev experience and covers code storage, cloud hosting, and optional database setup in plain language.
What's the difference between code storage and hosting?▾
Code storage keeps your project files safe online. Hosting runs your site and gives you a public URL. You need both: storage holds the files, hosting serves them to visitors.
Do I need a database for a simple website?▾
No. A portfolio, blog, or landing page usually only needs an online repository plus static site hosting. A database service is for web apps that save data or require login.
Will my guide change after I pay?▾
You keep the guide edition you purchased for your access period. If free-tier policies or setup steps change materially, we may publish a new edition. You can upgrade from your dashboard for $19.99 (same as renewal) — your access end date stays the same.
Can I buy expert chat near the end of my guide period?▾
Expert chat requires at least 30 days of guide access remaining. Each purchase gives up to 30 days of chat, but chat always ends when your 12-month guide period ends — you cannot get a full 30-day window if fewer than 30 days remain.
My guide expired but a new edition is out. What do I do?▾
If your guide access has expired, renew for $19.99 to get another 12 months and the latest edition. The mid-cycle edition upgrade ($19.99) is only available while your guide is still active.
